WEDNESDAY, NOV. 19 - PHANTOMS VS. ALBANY, 11:05 AM - Wachovia Spectrum
The Albany River Rats (Carolina Hurricanes) come to Philadelphia for the first time this season in the second of six matchups between the two teams. Albany is currently in seventh place in the Eastern Conference's East Division with a record of 3-8-2-1 for nine points. Mark Flood leads the River Rats with two goals and seven assists for nine points. In their last meeting, Albany outshot Philadelphia but couldn't get one past Scott Munroe, who picked up a 3-0 shutout win.
FRIDAY, NOV. 21 - PHANTOMS VS. HERSHEY, 7:05 PM - Wachovia Spectrum
The Hershey Bears (Washington Capitals) and their potent offense come into Philadelphia for the sixth game already this season between the two teams. Last weekend, the Bears swept a home-and-home series from the Phantoms. On Saturday night, Oskar Osala's hat trick was key in leading Hershey to a 7-3 victory over the Phantoms. His 12 goals lead the team on the season. Hershey remains in second place in the Eastern Conference's East Division, trailing the Bridgeport Sound Tigers by one point. The Bears have taken three of the five meetings between the two clubs so far.
SATURDAY, NOV. 22 - PHANTOMS AT BINGHAMTON, 7:05 PM - Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena
The Binghamton Senators (Ottawa Senators) take on the Phantoms for the second time this season and the first time in New York's Southern Tier. In the last meeting in Philadelphia, the Senators took home a 3-1 win. Despite losing its last two games, Binghamton remains in third place in the Eastern Conference's East Division with a record of 8-6-1-1 for 18 points. Ilya Zubov has been the catalyst for the Senators attack, recording 18 points (8G, 10A).
SUNDAY, NOV. 23 - PHANTOMS AT BRIDGEPORT, 4:00 PM - Arena at Harbor Yard
The Bridgeport Sound Tigers (New York Islanders) play host to the Phantoms for the second time this season and third game of the year between the teams. The Tigers enter the week leading the entire American Hockey League with 26 points on the strength of a 12-3-0-2 record. Kurtis McLean leads Bridgeport with six goals and 13 assists for 19 points. In the last match between the clubs, Philadelphia celebrated the final season opener at the historic Wachovia Spectrum with a 2-1 victory.
SCHOOL'S OUT FOR HOCKEY
The Phantoms face the Albany River Rats at the Wachovia Spectrum on Wednesday, November 19th at 11:05 AM in the annual School Day Game at the Wachovia Spectrum. The Phantoms are expecting over 5,000 schoolchildren from the greater Philadelphia region for the annual game that is staged in partnership with News in Education at the Philadelphia Inquirer. This year's them is history, with kids learning about the importance of historical events and why we need to learn the history of our society.
SHAKE-SHAKE-SHAKE IT
On Friday, November 21st the Phantoms will face the Hershey Bears at the Wachovia Spectrum, when it will be time for fans to make some noise during the annual Shake Your Mac Night! Fans are asked to bring in boxes of macaroni and cheese to use as noisemakers during the game. After the matchup, fans can donate their boxes and other non-perishable food items. All food will be taken to local food banks.

PHANTOMS CHILDREN'S BOOK WEEK A SUCCESS
Last week was Children's Book Week with the Phantoms, and the event was a resounding success. Fans donated over 1500 books to Success Won't Wait, a charity that will redistribute the books throughout the community to schools, community centers and other similar facilities. Earlier in the week, Jonathon Kalinski, Jonathan Matsumoto and Matt Clackson read to over 100 kindergarten students at Lancashire Elementary School in Wilmington, Delaware, whiel Nate Guenin did the same with kindergartners at Glen Acres Elementary School in West Chester.
MATSUMOTO NOMINATED FOR PLAYER OF THE WEEK
The Phantoms nominated C Jonathan Matsumoto for Reebok/AHL Player of the Week honors this week. Matsumoto had two goals on Saturday in Hershey, one of which came on the Phantoms first successful penalty shot since Jared Ross converted one on November 21, 2007.
NEWS AND NOTES
LW Chase Trull joined the Phantoms on Friday from the Mississippi Sea Wolves in the ECHL. Trull made his AHL debut later that night against the Hershey Bears, sporting number 22... Oskar Osala's hat trick was just the second the Phantoms have allowed since February of 2007. Jeff Tambellini scored the other one for Bridgeport this past April... four Phantoms regulars are currently on recall to the Flyers - Andreas Nodl, Darroll Powe, Jared Ross and Josh Gratton.
PHANTOMS HOCKEY ON THE INTERNET The Phantoms have joined with the rest of the American Hockey League in forming AHL Live, a brand-new way to catch Phantoms hockey on the Internet. Once again this year, all Phantoms games, home and away, can be viewed online at www.ahllive.com. The video broadcasts are $6 per game, and a full-season pass can be purchased for $140. Also once again this year, fans can listen to just the audio portion of all games free of charge at Phantomshockey.com.

TOYOTA CUP STANDINGS
Through the past 21 games of the season, Scott Munroe & Jared Ross lead the annual race for the Toyota Cup. Players are awarded points each time they are chosen as a star of the game, with five points given for a first star, three points for a second star and one point for a third star. The player with the most points at the end of the season will win a monetary donation to the charity of his choice courtesy of Toyota.
