Hershey Bears News Release

Charlie Stephens, recalled earlier in the day during morning workouts at GIANT Center, not only played in his first NHL game Tuesday night. Stephens picked up an assist on the game-winning goal in the second period as the Avalanche doubled up the Flames 4-2 at Pepsi Center in Denver. The assist for Stephens was his first career NHL point. Travis Brigley also assisted on Jim Cummins' game-winning tally in the second period after being called up to Colorado over the weekend.

The BEARS return to action this Saturday for the third game of a five game homestand at GIANT Center. Face-off is at 7:00 p.m. as the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins come to town.
