
Ducks rally to defeat Wolves

ROSEMONT, ILL -- Mike Mottau scored a pair of third period goals to lift the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks to a 3-2 victory over the Chicago Wolves at Allstate Arena.
Keith Aucoin also scored for the Ducks, who extended their unbeaten streak to three games (2-0-1-0) with their first road win of the season.
Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 27 shots, including all 16 that he faced in the third period, to improve his record to 3-2-0 on the season.
Karl Stewart and Brian Maloney scored for the Wolves, who snapped a five-game winning streak.
Frederic Cassivi finished with 37 shots in the loss.
The Ducks play Grand Rapids at 7:35 p.m. Friday at Cincinnati Gardens.
