February 22, 2007 - ECHL (ECHL)
Idaho Steelheads News Release
BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads will hold a Sports Equipment Drive for children at the Nampa Boys & Girls Club this Saturday, February 24th. Every fan who brings a new or gently used piece of sports equipment to the game will receive a 2-for-1 coupon for the March 8th Steelheads game.
The Nampa Club is seeing rapid membership growth and is in need of sports equipment and toys of all sorts for the children who spend time there.
This is the Steelheads second such drive. Fans last year donated equipment ranging from hockey gear, skates, golf clubs, footballs, soccer balls, baseball bats and gloves, and everything in between! The items last year were collected for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County.
Boys and Girls Club Mission Statement: To inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
