Steamed Crabs Rolled by Yankees

Aberdeen, M.D. - For the second time ever, the Aberdeen Steamed Crabs dueled in the New York Penn League. They took on the Staten Island Yankees who got the best of them with a 4-1 win.

CRABBY START: In the second inning Andres Chaparro struck for the Yankees. He blasted a ball over the left field wall and the visitors club house to make it 1-0 Staten Island.

HORVATH HOME: Nick Horvath would score the Crabs' first run. He led off the third with a double and then found the plate on Adam Hall's RBI single.

MALLET-ED: Thats what Junior Soto did to a ball in the 5th for a doube. He came home on a wild pitch to make it 2-1 Staten Island

KEEP EM COMING: In the 7th inning Josh Breaux hit an RBI double that scored Ricardo Ferreira and extend the Yanks lead to three.

They added another in the 9th aon Alex Junior's first hit of the game and pulled away from the Steamed Crabs with a 4-1 win.

BIRD WATCHING: Robert Neustrom ended his seven game hit streak going 0-for-2 with a walk. Adam Hall singled and doubled to extend his streak to fourteen games.

UP NEXT: No more Crabs, but lots of IronBirds tomorrow at Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium for a 6:05 first pitch.
