Stars drop 3-1 decision

MILWAUKEE, WI - The Iowa Stars played their second game in as many nights Wednesday night in Milwaukee against the Admirals. Despite scoring the first goal of the game, the Stars dropped a 3-1 decision to the Admirals.

Rookie forward Loui Eriksson put the Stars ahead 1-0 with his 18th goal of the season at 5:25 of the first period. Krys Barch and Mario Scalzo registered the assists on the power-play goal.

Milwaukee's Greg Classen evened the score at 3:02 of the second period with a power-play goal. Jordin Tootoo put the Admirals ahead 2-1 at 14:10 of the middle frame. Tootoo picked-up his second point of the game when he assisted on Brandon Segal's goal at the 16:43.

Stars goalie Mike Smith faced 35 shots, including 17 in the second period.
