Milwaukee Admirals News Release

Milwaukee, WI-This Friday, March 3rd when the Milwaukee Admirals take on the Rochester Americans the Admirals would like to offer their support to all of the great fans who have shown their support throughout the years.

To that end, Friday's game has been dubbed "Admirals Supporter Night," and the first 2,500 fans 16 and older will receive an athletic supporter, courtesy of Hockey Haven.

"In general, all hockey teams go through ups and downs in the course of a season," noted Admirals President Jon Greenberg. "Our fans have been very supportive of us through these peaks and valleys and we felt it was time to reciprocate that support."

The genesis of the promotion comes from the movie Grease when Principal McGee utters the now famous line: "If you can't be in athletics, at least be an athletic supporter."

In addition to the jock straps, WWE Diva and Milwaukee native Candice Michelle will participate in a ceremonial puck drop and sign autographs on the concourse. The Hanson Brothers from the movie Slapshot will also be at the Bradley Center to entertain fans with their act.

The Admirals take on the Iowa Stars tonight at 7:00 pm at the Bradley Center before the festivities hit for the weekend. For tickets fans can call Ticketmaster at (414) 276-4545 or log on to www.ticketmaster.com.
