Moose Sign Sloan to PTO

The Manitoba Moose, the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, announced they have signed defenceman Tyler Sloan to his second pro tryout contract this season.

Sloan, 24, played in two games during his first PTO with the Moose. He did not register a point in either game against the Omaha Knights on Feb. 10 & 11/06. The Calgary, AB native has played in 33 games so far this season with the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL where he has collected three goals and 13 assists for 16 points and 58 penalty minutes. In his four-year pro career, Sloan has played in 126 career games in the AHL with the Syracuse Crunch and Moose, where he has scored four goals and seven assists for 11 points and 119 penalty minutes. In 90 career games in the ECHL with Las Vegas and the Dayton Bombers, Sloan has scored 10 goals and 36 points along with 164 penalty minutes.
