Kane scores twice as Bears down Toronto 4-1

3/1/2006 9:56:00 PM - HERSHEY'S captain scores two goals and assists on a third as the BEARS crack the 80-point mark with a 4-1 win over the Marlies at GIANT Center Wednesday night.

Kane stands one goal short of a career high after he scored a five-on-five goal at the 9:09 mark of the first period and another even strength goal at 1:01 of the third. Dave Steckel scored a short-handed goal at 5:17 of the second period, a tally that proved to be the game-winner. Louis Robitaille added his seventh goal of the season to put the game on ice. The BEARS outshot the Marlies 39-31 in the game, and won for the 35th time this season with 19 games to play.

HERSHEY will travel to Syracuse to face the Crunch Friday night at 7:35 before hosting the Philadelphia Phantoms Saturday at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available at the GIANT Center box office, or by calling (717) 508-BEAR.
