SAN ANTONIO, TX - Three unanswered goals erased a third period San Antonio lead on Sunday afternoon, as the Texas Stars (6-5-2) defeated the Rampage (3-12-0) 4-2 in front of 5,195 fans at the AT&T Center.

Travis Morin scored the game-tying goal in the third period and set up Roope Hintz's game-winning power play tally less than three minutes later. Ville Husso made 29 saves for the Rampage in a losing effort.

The Rampage scored both of their goals in the first period, with Jordan Nolan getting his first in a Rampage uniform and Klim Kostin scoring on the power play.

With the Rampage ahead 2-1 in the third period, Morin deflected a Brady Norrish point shot past Husso to tie the game 2-2 at 7:54. At 10:19 of the third, the Stars took their first lead of the game.

With Mackenzie MacEachern in the box for roughing and Brian Flynn penalized for slashing, the Stars had 1:08 of 5-on-3 power play time. During that power play, Morin found Hintz for a deflection in front of the Rampage net for Hintz's second goal of the season and a 3-2 Stars lead.

Morin, in his tenth year with the Stars, has 32 goals and 98 points in 101 career regular-season games against the Rampage.

The Rampage tried to pull Ville Husso for an extra skater late in the third period, but in the process were penalized for too many men on the ice. During the ensuing power play, Denis Gurianov capitalized on a Rampage turnover in front of Husso for his seventh goal of the season to make it 4-2.

Nolan opened the scoring for the Rampage at 4:26 of the first period when his wrist shot from above the goal line in the right-wing corner slipped between the legs of Stars goaltender Landon Bow for a 1-0 Rampage lead. Nolan recorded his 100th professional point with an assist on Saturday night.

Texas would tie the game at 8:28 of the first when Colton Hargrove finished a feed in front from Gurianov for his fourth of the season. The Rampage answered right back at 10:40, with Kostin driving to the net from the right wing to tuck the puck around Bow's right pad for a power play goal, his third goal of the season making it 2-1.

San Antonio has lost three straight as the Rampage prepare for Tuesday morning's meeting with the Manitoba Moose at the AT&T Center. Puck-drop scheduled for 10:30 a.m. for Cool School Day, with the game available on The Ticket 760AM and on AHLTV.
