
Stars Announce Trades Prior to 2018 USHL Draft

LINCOLN, Neb. - The Lincoln Stars have made four acquisitions prior to the 2018 USHL Draft on Monday evening, the team announced today.
- The Stars acquired defenseman Corson Green from the Central Illinois Flying Aces for future considerations.
- In a separate transaction, the Stars have also acquired forward Caleb Rule from the Flying Aces in exchange for a 2018 Phase II pick.
- The Stars acquired forward Paul "P.J." Fletcher from the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders in exchange for affiliate forward Kyle Mandleur.
- The Stars have also acquired a 2018 Phase II pick in exchange for forward Logan Jenuwine.
Green, 19, played 49 games between the Sioux Falls Stampede and Flying Aces last season, totaling two goals and seven assists for nine points. The University of New Hampshire commit made his USHL debut with the Chicago Steel in the 2016-17 campaign and owns seven goals and 17 assists for 24 points through 97 career USHL games. The Potsdam, N.Y. native was listed on both the NHL Central Scouting Players to Watch List and Midterm Rankings this season.
Rule, 19, played 37 games between the Tri-City Storm and Flying Aces in the 2017-18 season, posting one goal and three assists for four points. The Ohio State University commit previously played with Shattuck St Mary's during the 2016-17 season, tallying 22 goals and 32 assists for 54 points through 56 games.
Fletcher, 16, was selected 292nd overall (19th Round) by the RoughRiders in the 2017 USHL Phase II Draft. The Quinnipiac University commit played 42 games with the Selects Hockey Academy 16U during the 2017-18 season, netting 28 goals and 34 assists for 62 points.
Mandleur, 17, played 39 games between the New Jersey Rockets and Mercer Chiefs 16U during the 2017-18 season, tallying 18 goals and 17 assists for 35 points. The University of Vermont commit was selected 55th overall (4th Round) in the 2017 USHL Phase I Draft.
Jenuwine, 19, played 29 games with the Stars, posting three goals and five assists for eight points with one power play goal as well as two goals and two assists for four points through seven games in the 2018 Clark Cup Playoffs. The Western Michigan University commit has six goals and 13 assists for 19 points through 74 career USHL games.
