Lancers Select 10 Players in USHL Phase 1 Draft

Ralston, NE -- The Omaha Lancers selected ten players in the USHL Phase I Draft Monday night. Along with the ten players picked, the Lancers also tendered two players before the start time of Phase I, Chase Bradley and Cam Berg.
Here is the complete list of the Lancers Phase I picks:
4th Round | 51st overall: Michael Cameron F (Philadelphia Jr. Flyers 16U)
5th Round | 66th overall: Riley Stuart F (Phoenix Jr. Coyotes 16U)
6th Round | 92nd overall: Tiernan Shoudy F (Detroit Little Caesars 16U)
6th Round | 94th overall: Bryan Huggins D (Meijer AAA 16U)
7th Round | 111th overall: Joe Schubert F (Exeter Academy)
8th Round | 119th overall: Blake Perbix F (St. Cloud Cathedral)
8th Round | 127th overall: Blake Mesenburg (Shattuck St. Mary's 16U)
9th Round | 143rd overall: Kyler Kovich F (Vancouver NE Chiefs)
10th Round | 150th overall: Landon Kosior D (Tisdale Trojans)
10th Round | 159th overall: Dallon Melin F (Sherwood Park Kings)
"Phase I is about protecting young players and getting the best players that are available," Head Coach David Wilkie said. "We got a good amount of players that were very high on our draft board and are very happy about the final outcome of Phase I for the Omaha Lancers."
Phase II will start at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 8th.
