"The Phase 1 USHL Draft is a vehicle to build a protected list for future players to come to our league - as most of these players are a year or 2 away from playing at our level", said USHL GM / Head Coach Cary Eades. "Having said that, we are excited about the talent we've acquired in the 2002 birth year class. We look forward to watching their games grow, as we build relationships in order for them to join the Force family down the road."
