Stamps make trade with Renegades

(Calgary) – Today Calgary Stampeders General Manager and Head Coach Matt Dunigan announced a trade with the Ottawa Renegades. Traded to the Stampeders is receiver Denis Montana, the negotiations rights to receiver Sean Riley and no less than Ottawa's second round draft pick in the 2005 Canadian College Draft. In return the Renegades acquire receiver Andrew Noel and defensive back Hassan Probherbs.

"We feel very fortunate to acquire the rights to Sean Riley. Offensive Coordinator John Jenkins believes this receiver has the potential to become a serious threat in our system. Along with the acquisition of Riley we are extremely pleased to bring back veteran receiver Denis Montana. In addition we also acquire at least Ottawa's second round pick in the 2005 Canadian College Draft" stated General Manager and Head Coach Matt Dunigan.
