(Calgary) â The following is a schedule for Day 1 of Rookie Training Camp.
DAY 1 ROOKIE CAMP - THURSDAY MAY 20TH
1st Practice: 8:30 am â 11:00am
8:30 am - Walk thru
8:45 am â Stretch
9:00 am â Individual
10:00 am â One on One
11:00 am â off field
Players will be available at 11:00 am
Head Coach Matt Dunigan will be available after player interviews
2nd Practice: 4:00 pm â 5:40 pm
4:00 pm â Walk thru
4:15 pm â Stretch
4:50 pm â One on One
5:40 pm â Off field
Players will be available at 5:40 pm
Head Coach Matt Dunigan will be available after player interviews
Practices are open to the general public; however, please check with the Calgary Stampeder Administration for possible time changes and alterations to the daily schedule.
IMPORTANT CAMP DATES
Wednesday, May 19 Rookies Report for Camp
Thursday, May 20 Rookies begin two-a-day workouts
Saturday, May 22 Veterans report for medicals
Sunday, May 23 Camp officially opens. Two-a-day sessions begin for all players
Thursday, June 3 Winnipeg at Calgary â 7:30pm local time
Sunday, June 6 At 11:59pm ET â Rosters cut to 50 players under contract excluding 2004 draftees or unsigned players drafted from a previous year
Thursday, June 10 Calgary at Edmonton â 7:00pm local time
Saturday, June 12 At 3:00pm ET â Rosters cut to 40 players (18 imports, 17 Canadians and 3 quarterbacks)
