BISMARCK, North Dakota, March 5, 2012 - Mikki Moore and David Bailey each scored 22 points, but the Idaho Stampede (16-22) fell to the Dakota Wizards 101-97.
After trailing by as many as 20 points, the Stampede outscored the home team 59-48 in the second half and shot 52.4 percent, and pulled to within 1 point with 6.7 seconds left, but could not get over the hump for the win. Paul Carter had 11 points and six rebounds, Jordan Brady added 11 points and Antoine Walker had 10 points and six rebounds for the Stampede. Reggie Larry led the team in rebounds with eight, adding four points. Idaho made just 4-of-18 three-pointers (22.2 percent) and 21-of-31 free throws (67.7 percent).
Dakota (20-16) was led by Mo Baker, who tallied a triple-double with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Edwin Ubiles had 22 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, Stefhon Hannah had 20 points and Jeremy Tyler added 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Idaho travels to play the Tulsa 66ers on Wednesday at 10 a.m. (MST).
