Sloan Re-Joins BayHawks

Erie, Pennsylvania, Monday, March 5 - The Erie BayHawks received a boost in their backcourt with the addition of Donald Sloan to their roster. Sloan initially started the season in Erie before receiving a tryout with the Atlanta Hawks during their training camp.

After making Atlanta's roster out of training camp, Sloan appeared in five games with the Hawks, scoring six points, grabbing five rebounds and tallying five assists. Following his release from the Atlanta roster, Sloan signed two consecutive ten day contracts with the New Orleans Hornets. While with New Orleans Sloan appeared in three games, scoring 12 points and dishing out eight assists.

Prior to his departure, Sloan averaged 24.8 points and 8.4 assists with Erie. He returns to a BayHawks squad that has won three of their last four games and cracked the .500 mark for the first time this season with a win over Sioux Falls on Sunday.

He will return to action on Tuesday morning as the BayHawks face off against the Maine Red Claws at a special start time of 11:00 AM. Tuesday is the BayHawks annual School Kids Jam, presented by UPMC Health Plan.
