Stampede Cannot Hold off Blue in Overtime

BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Stampede could not overcome the Oklahoma City Blue on Sunday afternoon falling in overtime, 102-95, at CenturyLink Arena.

Idaho maintained control of the game up until the third quarter when Oklahoma City's Kameron Jones tied the game 60-60 with four minutes left. The momentum shifted towards the Blue until Bryce Dejean-Jones hit a 3-pointer with 26.2 seconds left in the fourth to send the game into overtime. The game shifted back in Oklahoma's favor as the Blue outscored the Stampede 9-2 in overtime.

Idaho had five players score in double figures. Bryce Dejean-Jones led for Idaho, recording his first double-double of the season with a team high 19 points and 11 rebounds (both career highs) off the bench. Jeremy Williams registered 17 points, nine rebounds and three blocks, while Phil Pressey (14 points) and Treveon Graham (14 points) combined for 28. Brandon Fields added 12 points, four rebounds and four assists.

Oklahoma City had six players score 10-or-more points. Dakari Johnson led the Blue recording his fourth double-double of the season with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Oklahoma City Thunder assignee Mitch McGary also registered his fourth double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds off the bench.

The Stampede are back in action on Tuesday, Dec. 29 at 7 p.m. MT to take on the Oklahoma City Blue one more time before heading into the New Year. For more information visit IdahoStampede.com.
