Blue Halts Stampede in Overtime Win

BOISE, Idaho - The Oklahoma City Blue clinched a 102-95 overtime win against the Idaho Stampede on Sunday behind Mitch McGary's 17 points and 10 rebounds. McGary, on assignment from the Oklahoma City Thunder, added a pair of steals and shot 7-of-15 in 31 minutes.

Dakari Johnson tallied 19 points, including five in overtime, alongside 10 rebounds. JP Tokoto collected 16 points, eight rebounds and three assists and Marquis Teague scored 15 points with nine boards and four assists. Talib Zanna added 11 points and six rebounds.

The Blue trailed by four early in the fourth quarter before using an 8-2 burst to go ahead 83-81 with six minutes to play. A deep three from Idaho tied the game at 93 with 26.2 seconds remaining, which sent the game to overtime after empty possessions by both teams.

The Stampede took a 95-94 lead via the foul line with 2:32 left before the Blue outscored Idaho 8-0 in the remainder of the extra period, holding its opponent to 0-of-3 shooting in the extra period. The Blue is now 1-1 in overtime games this season.

Oklahoma City (3-13) pulled down 55 rebounds, including 18 on the offensive end.

Idaho (5-13) was led by Bryce Dejean-Jones with 19 points and 11 boards.
