BayHawks Acquire John Jordan

Erie, Pennsylvania, December 23 - The Erie BayHawks, the NBA Affiliate of the Orlando Magic, announced today they have added John Jordan to their roster.

Jordan, a 5-foot-10, 180 pound point guard was acquired by the Delaware 87ers on November 11, 2015 after going undrafted in the 2015-16 NBA Development League Draft. In eight games played, Jordan averaged five points, two assists, and 1.5 rebounds per game while shooting 43% from the field. He was waived by the 87ers on December 17th.

Jordan played a four-year career at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi where he averaged 15.6 points and 5.2 assists per game. He led the Islanders to a postseason appearance in his junior and senior seasons in addition to holding program records for career points (1,576), assists (652) and steals (182). His accolades include finalist honors for the Lou Henson Award National Player of the Year Award, presented to the top Mid-Major player in Division 1 basketball, All-Southland First Team (2014, 2015), and All-Southland Honorable Mention (2013).
