
Stampede Acquires Quan Prowell

Boise, Idaho (February 27, 2015) - The Stampede have claimed free agent Quan Prowell from the available player pool. Prowell will wear number 14 and is expected to be available for the Stampede when they host Rio Grande Valley tonight.
Prowell (6-8, 215, Auburn) most recently played for VL Pesaro (Italy) in 2013. The Columbus, Georgia native has also played for multiple teams in Germany, France, Turkey and Greece before coming to the NBA Development League. Prowell played two years at Furman University before transferring to Auburn University. As a senior, he averaged 14.9 points and 6.3 rebounds in 32.5 minutes per game. The Auburn grad also played for the Golden State Warriors during the 2009 NBA Summer League.
The Stampede will host the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Friday (Feb. 27) and Saturday (Feb. 28) at CenturyLink Arena.
