
Stajcer Reassigned to Road Warriors

Greenville, SC: Today the Road Warriors have announced goaltender Scott Stajcer has been reassigned to the Greenville Road Warriors from the Connecticut Whale by the New York Rangers.
Stajcer, 21, backed up Cam Talbot during his two games with the Connecicut Whale. He played 15 games with the Road Warriors since his reassignment on October 25th. During that time he posted a 2.72 GAA with a .918 SV%. The Cambridge, Ontario native had a stint on the 21 day IR which sidelined him for just over a month. Stajcer was drafted in 2009 by the New York Rangers in the fifth round, 140th overall.
Goaltender Robert Moss, forward Myles McCauley and defenseman Drew Baker were also released by the Road Warriors.
The Road Warriors begin a three game series against the Elmira Jackals on Friday in the Century BMW Rink at the BI-LO Center. Hockey Happy Hour begins at 5 p.m. with FREE FOOD, DISCOUNTED DRINKS AND ENTERTAINMENT presented by Rock101, ABC Party Rentals and Zirkelbach Construction .
