PUCKCHOP BOBBLEHEAD NIGHT PRESENTED BY THE PLASTIC SURGERY GROUP
TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: It's another quick turnaround for the Cyclones as they open a four-game week tonight just 48 hours after closing out a perfect weekend. First up, the surging Trenton Titans. The Clones are 5-0 this year against their New Jersey foes and, perhaps even more impressively, have amassed a 9-0-1 record in the Jarrod Skalde era.
TONIGHT'S PROMOTION: BIG BEER TUESDAY / COUNTRY NIGHT - Fans 21+ can enjoy $2 24-ounce Labatt Blue and Molson! Plus, fans are encouraged to wear their best country attire!
SCOUTING THE TITANS: Vince Williams' club won back-to-back games over Reading this past weekend, putting them within 12 points of the eighth seed in the East. Jacob Cepis and Stephen Schultz are the top two point-getters for the Titans this year, registering 46 and 45 points respectively. Goaltender Brooks Ostergard appeared for just the third time over the weekend, breaking Scott Wedgewood's seven-game starting streak. Ostergard is now 1-0 with a 3.45 goals against average. Wedgewood, meanwhile, has accumulated a 16-19-3-2 record with a 3.21 GAA.
Beacon of Stability: Second-year defenseman Chris Reed remains a stable force on the Cyclones blue line. The Former Buckeye ranks fifth in the ECHL with a +18 rating. He has also contributed with a career-high 12 points (1 goal, 11 assists).
Sharing the Limelight: The Cyclones have had 20 different players register a game-winning goal this season. Josh Shalla leads the team and ranks third in the ECHL with six such tallies. In fact, only six players (including Shalla) have had more than one GWG.
