'Blades Send Defenseman Ryan McGinnis to South Carolina

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced Tuesday that the team has traded defenseman Ryan McGinnis to the South Carolina Stingrays to complete the terms of the previous trade involving forward Matthew Pistilli back on December 31, 2012.
McGinnis has posted eight assists in 21 games played with the Everblades this season. Last season McGinnis split time between the Everblades and the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League.
Since joining the "ËBlades, Matthew Pistilli has totaled 29 points (11g, 18a) in 23 games played.
Florida plays host to the Reading Royals on Wednesday beginning at 7:30 p.m.. Fans can enjoy $2 draft, $2 wines, and $2 hot dogs all night long.
Pink in the Rink takes place this Friday and Saturday when the Everblades play host to the Gwinnett Gladiators. The Everblades will wear special pink jerseys both nights, and the jerseys will be auctioned off following Saturday's game. All proceeds from the auction will take benefit cancer charities.
