
St. Louis Blues Recall D Scott Perunovich from T-Birds

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the team has recalled defenseman Scott Perunovich from its AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds. In addition, the Blues assigned goaltender Joel Hofer, forward Dakota Joshua, and defenseman Calle Rosen to Springfield.
Perunovich, 23, was drafted by the Blues in the second round, 45th overall, of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. This season, the 5'10, 185-pound defenseman shares the AHL lead with 20 points (two goals, 18 assists) through 12 games. The Hibbing, Minnesota, native previously spent three seasons at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where he captured back-to-back NCAA titles in 2018 and 2019 and the Hobey Baker Award (top collegiate player) in 2020.
Hofer, 21, made two starts in his stint with the Blues, going 1-1-0 with a 3.08 goals-against average and a .880 save percentage. In four games with Springfield this season, the 6'3, 160-pound goaltender has posted a 3-0-1 record.
Joshua, 25, has appeared in six games with the Blues this season, logging five penalty minutes. The 6'3, 206-pound forward has also dressed in seven games for the Thunderbirds, tallying four points (one goal, three assists) and eight penalty minutes.
Rosen, 27, has dressed in five games with the Blues this season, posting two assists. The 6'1, 186-pound defenseman has also played in seven games for the Thunderbirds, recording five points (one goal, four assists) and four penalty minutes.
