Squirrels and SeaWolves Suspended Friday

RICHMOND, VA - Friday night's game between the Richmond Flying Squirrels and the Erie SeaWolves was suspended in the bottom of the second inning due to severe thunderstorms in the area of The Diamond.

The game, which was halted in the midst of the bottom of the second with Richmond holding a 1-0 advantage, will resume on Saturday at 6:05 p.m. Following the completion of the suspended game, the two clubs will play a seven-inning game Saturday night.

Fans holding tickets for Friday night's suspended game can redeem them for tickets to any remaining regular season game in the 2012 season based upon availability. For more information, please log on to SquirrelsBaseball.com.

Richmond will send LHP Chris Gloor (1-0, 3.48 ERA) to the mound to start the suspended game Saturday. Erie has not named a starting pitcher for the suspended game. Pregame coverage on Sports Radio 910 and SportsRadio910.com will begin at 5:35 PM.
