Fisher Cats Game Suspended in Eighth

New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release


(Trenton, NJ)---Friday's scheduled game between the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and the Trenton Thunder has been suspended due to rain at Waterfront Park in New Jersey.

The Fisher Cats scored two runs in the top of the eighth inning on a triple by Ryan Goins to tie the game at 2-2. The tarp was then put on the field. When the game resumes, Trenton will come up in the bottom of the eighth inning.

The suspended game will be completed prior to Saturday's regularly scheduled nine-inning game between the teams at 6:05pm.

Deck McGuire (2-6 6.80) will start for New Hampshire in the regularly scheduled game against Trenton RHP Mikey O'Brien (2-1, 2.41). Radio coverage with Bob Lipman begins at 5:45pm on the WGIR Fisher Cats Radio Network and online at www.nhfishercats.com.
