BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron, NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, dropped Saturday night's matchup with Raptors 905, 112-98.
The Squadron's leading scorer on the season, Malcolm Hill, paced Birmingham (2-6) in the scoring column with 19 points to go along with six boards and a pair of assists.
Squadron center Trey Jemison notched his sixth consecutive double-double and his 10th in the past 12 games with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Izaiah Brockington was just a rebound away from his second straight double-double, scoring 16 points and bringing in nine boards.
All five Squadron starters plus Tevian Jones off the bench scored in double figures.
Omari Moore and Jaysean Page led Raptors 905 in scoring with 22 and 20, respectively, as both players came off the bench for Saturday's game.
Birmingham and Raptors 905 return to Legacy Arena at the BJCC Monday for an 11 a.m. tip-off which can be seen nationally on NBAGLeague.com or locally on My68. The Squadron will once again wear their Birmingham Black Barons tribute uniforms for Monday's game.
