Osceola Magic News Release

The Osceola Magic defeated the Greensboro Swarm at the Novant Health Fieldhouse 108-97 Saturday night.

Jett Howard led the charge, scoring 22 points in his return after missing the past two games.

"I'm feeling a lot better now, and it was great to be back out there," Howard stated. "We came together and decided to share the ball; when we do that, great things happen. It was a fun night; Mac's (McClung) family and friends were out here. Everywhere I looked, I saw Gate City Jerseys. It got me hyped; I grew up watching Mac. It was a cool moment, honestly."

McClung contributed with 21 points and seven assists in the victory.

"The fans were everywhere tonight; you couldn't miss them," said McClung post-game. "I'm grateful that they all made the trip to come see me play. The win felt great; you have to stay level-headed. There are great teams everywhere, and we have to stay poised."

The Magic set the tone early in the game with a made three-point shot by Howard, claiming the lead and maintaining control throughout. Concluding the first half with a 54-43 lead, Osceola sustained momentum in the second half. The Magic bench outscored the Swarm's bench 40-27 and shot 50% from the field to secure their third victory of the season.

The Osceola Magic (3-3), NBA G League Affiliate of the Orlando Magic, will face the Greensboro Swarm, on Monday, January 15 at the Novant Health Fieldhouse in Greensboro at 2 pm. The game will stream on NBAGLeague.com.
