DETROIT - The Motor City Cruise took on the College Park Skyhawks and won tonight's game, 92-85.

After a back-and-forth first half, Motor City led 53-46 after outscoring College Park in the first two quarters of the game. College Park went on a 7-0 run in the third quarter to take the lead. However, Motor City battled back to tie the game heading in the final quarter.

The Motor City defense held College Park to shooting just 30% from the floor (0% from beyond the arc), to secure the win in the fourth.

The Cruise were led in tonight's contest by one of the Detroit Pistons two-way players, Stanley Umude. Umude scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds in 23 minutes of playing time. He shot 7-15 from the floor (4-10 beyond the arc). Zavier Simpson recorded a double-double in tonight's game after scoring ten points and tallying 10 assists in the win. Simpson now has a total of 29 double-doubles in his NBA G League career (showcase and regular season combined).

Kobe Bufkin scored 25 points to lead College Park. He shot 12-26 from the floor in tonight's defeat to Motor City. Robert Baker knocked down four three-point shots, which led to his 19-point game.

The Motor City Cruise improved to 5-3 and the College Park Skyhawks fell to 4-3 in the regular season. The Motor City Cruise will continue their six-game homestand on Monday, January 15. The Cruise are set to face the College Park Skyhawks once again at 3:00 p.m. ET at the Wayne State Fieldhouse (Detroit, MI).
