
Spurs Recall Thomas from Toros

SAN ANTONIO (Dec. 13, 2013) - The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have recalled forward Malcolm Thomas from the Austin Toros of the NBA Development League.
Thomas, who was recently signed by the Spurs on Dec. 3, played in two games for the Toros, averaging 19.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 35.5 minutes. Prior to joining the Silver and Black, Thomas appeared in two games for the Los Angeles D-Fenders of the D-League. For the year, Thomas is averaging 26.5 points, 13.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 38.0 minutes while shooting .661 (37-56) from the field.
The Toros are back in action tomorrow night when they travel to Frisco to take on the Texas Legends at 7 p.m. inside the Dr. Pepper Arena.
