Springfield Falcons Players Make Sales Calls
March 28, 2012 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Springfield Falcons News Release
The Springfield Falcons received some help with their season ticket holder renewal calls on Wednesday night as #5 Greg Amadio and #24 Andrew Joudrey assisted the Falcons sales staff calling members of their season ticket holder renewal base. Amadio and Joudrey called a variety of different season ticket holders and got everyone excited about the 2012-13 season.
"This is something we did when I was a player and the guys were great about helping about," said Falcons President and General Manager Bruce Landon. "This is something we have never tried before and when I asked the guys if they would help, they were all for it. It was fun to hear the reaction of fans, we have a great loyal fan base and we appreciate their support each and every year."
Both players were assisted with a season ticket holder renewal list and some office space and over a span of 90 minutes, Joudrey and Amadio called a large number of Falcons season tickets holders from the 2011-12 campaign. Joudrey is in his first season with the Falcons and has served as assistant captain this year. Amadio was acquired by the Falcons/Columbus Blue Jackets in January and has quickly become a fan favorite around the The Nest.
"Both players are in the organization for next year and both have proven to be great leaders this year," said Landon. "With the team remaining in the hunt for the playoffs this year and with the excitement of our 2012-13 season ticket campaign, these are great times to join the Falcons and be part of Falcons Hockey."
