
Adam Cracknell Signs Extension with Blues

St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has re-signed forward Adam Cracknell to a one-year contract extension.
Cracknell, 26, has put up the best numbers of his career with the Peoria Rivermen this season. He was named captain in December and has recorded 20 goals, 26 assists and 46 points (all career-highs). He has now appeared in over 200 games with Peoria since he joined the organization for the 2009-10 season.
He played in two games for the Blues this season, recording a goal in his season debut on Dec. 26 vs. Dallas. Last season, the 6'2", 210-pound forward dressed in 24 games and notched seven points (three goals, four assists) for the Blues. Cracknell has played in 26 National Hockey League (NHL) games, all with St. Louis, registering eight points (four goals, four assists) and eight penalty minutes.
The Prince Albert, Saskatchewan native was originally signed by the Blues as a free agent on July 23, 2009. He was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the ninth round (#279 overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
