Aeros Fall to Admirals in OT

MILWAUKEE --- David McIntyre had a goal and an assist and Chay Genoway scored for the Houston Aeros in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Milwaukee Admirals Wednesday at the Bradley Center.

Matt Hackett, who was making his first start for the Aeros since February 25, made 21 saves. Houston is now 32-23-4-9 and is tied for fourth place in the Western Conference with 77 points.

Genoway gave the Aeros a 2-1 advantage with his seventh goal of the season 1:56 into the second period.

Brodie Dupont tied the score at 2-2 at 5:22 in the third period with his fifth goal of the season. Kyle Wilson scored a power play goal at 4:56 in the overtime period for the game-winner.

McIntyre put Houston ahead 1-0 with a short-handed goal at 11:11 in the first period, but Chris Mueller tied the score at 1-1 with a goal at 18:53 in the first.

The Aeros start a five-game homestand Thursday against the Lake Erie Monsters at 7:05 p.m. at Toyota Center.
