
IceCaps Release Daavettila from PTO

St. John's IceCaps News Release
The St. John's IceCaps today announced they have released forward Trent Daavettila from his professional tryout contract.
Daavettila, 27, played in two games with the IceCaps since his recall on Mar. 23/12. In that time he recorded two penalty minutes. He started the season in 66 games with the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL where he recorded 71 points (17G, 54A) and 38 penalty minutes.
He has now played in 18 career AHL games between Adirondack, Grand Rapids and St. John's for three career points (1G, 2A) and four penalty minutes.
