Blackhawks Assign Hutton to Rockford

Chicago, Ill.-The Chicago Blackhawks have assigned goaltender Carter Hutton to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.

Hutton, 26, has compiled a 21-10-3 record with three shutouts and a .919 save percentage in 37 regular-season games with the IceHogs this year. The second-year pro also appeared in 14 contests with the ECHL's Toledo Walleye.

The Thunder Bay, Ontario, native has a career record of 33-19-3 with four shutouts and a .910 save percentage in 63 career AHL games with Rockford, Worcester and Adirondack.

Next Home Game: Friday, March 30 vs. Peoria Rivermen. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. The IceHogs and Rivermen meet for a 12th and final time this season when they square off at the BMO"ˆHarris Bank Center. It is also Rockford's final Illinois Lottery Cup matchup of 2011-12. The first 1,500 fans to the game will receive an IceHogs Fitness Towel courtesy of Peak Fitness and the band The Sensations will perform before the game, during each intermission, and after the contest ends.
