
Spirit Host Knights on Halloween

SAGINAW, MI. - The Saginaw Spirit wrap up their busy month of October playing host to the London Knights (9-2-1-1, 3rd Midwest Division) tonight at The Dow Event Center.
Saturday night's game marks the second of four meetings between the Spirit and the Knights. London drew first blood in the season series back on October 16th at Budweiser Gardens by a 4-1 decision. Goaltender Tyler Parson made 33 saves in the contest for the Knights and Aaron Berisha scored twice. The Spirit got a goal late from Mitchell Stephens in the game.
The Spirit are coming off a 3-2 win on Friday night against the Owen Sound Attack, marking their fourth win in their past five games. A late third period goal scored by Blake Clarke lifted the Spirit over the Attack, improving their record to 6-6-1-1.
London soared past Windsor Friday night at Bud Gardens by a final score of 6-3. Toronto Maple Leafs Prospects Mitchell Marner and J.J. Piccinich scored twice for the Knights and Tyler Parsons notched his eight win of the season in net. The Knights have won eight of their last 10 games after starting the year 1-0-1-1.
The Spirit hosts the Knights on October 31, 2015 for a Halloween night matchup at The Dow Event Center. Game time is set for 7:05 p.m. On Wednesday November 4, 2015 the Sault Ste.
