The Colorado Springs Sky Sox drop game one of four at Nashville, 2-1, on Friday night. Sky Sox starting pitcher Travis Driskill pitched 6.0 innings allowing only 2 runs on 8 hits while striking out 3. The Sounds scored twice in the 5th inning off of Driskill while the Sox' lone run came in the top of the 7th on an RBI single by Anthony Sanders that scored Choo Freeman from second. Freeman was the only Sox player with more than one hit as he finished 3-4 with a run scored. The Sox and Sounds play game two Saturday at 5:00 with Kip Bouknight (0-2, 5.85) taking on Nelson Figueroa (4-4, 5.08).
