
Sidewinders outfielder Luis Terrero suspended

The Pacific Coast League has suspended Tucson Sidewinders outfielder Luis Terrero for five games for his role in an on-field altercation in Albuquerque while playing the Isotopes on May 25th. The league has also issued an indefinite suspension to Terrero for his involvement in an incident with a fan immediately following the on-field altercation.
Terrero, who has played in 43 games for the Sidewinders this season, retroactively began serving his five game suspension on May 26th. He will count towards Tucson's 24-man roster until the 5-game suspension concludes on May 31st. Terrero will not count towards Tucson's roster while serving his indefinite suspension.
At the time of the suspension Terrero ranked in the top 10 on several PCL leader boards including T1st in 3B (5), 4th in SB (12), and T6th in H (55). Terrero was also leading the team in H (55), RBI (29), SB (12), G (42), AB (165), and was tied for the lead in AVG (.333) and HR (7).
The Sidewinders are currently in the middle of an eight game home stand hosting the Portland Beavers (San Diego Padres) and the Salt Lake Stingers (Anaheim Angels). The home stand will continue through June 4th.
