Colorado Springs Sky Sox News Release
The Sky Sox lost their 4th game in a row Monday night to the Iowa Cubs 4-2. Sox starter Chris Michalak (6-8) pitched 7.2 respectable innings allowing 4 runs, 3 on solo-home runs, on 8 hits walking 0 and striking out 2, but did not receive much help from the offense. The Sox could only manage to score 2 runs on their 8 hits, leaving 6 men on base. The Sox activated starter Jason Young (5-4, 5.31) today and he will try to stop the bleeding for the Sox tonight against the Cubs Alan Benes (5-1, 4.44) at Sec Taylor Field.
