Curt Schilling started his second rehab game for Tucson and earned the win as Tucson rallied for a 5-3 win over the PCL's best team Sacramento, Monday night at Raley Field

Schilling didn't allow a hit until the fourth inning when Chris Prieto singled. Schilling cruised through five innings striking out six batters and just allowing two singles.

However in the sixth Esteban German rocketed a bunt back to the mound that Schilling couldn't handle for a hit. Chris Prieto followed with a two-run homer into the Tucson bullpen to tie the game. Dave McCarty went back-to-back with Prieto with a long solo home run to left to give Sacramento a 3-2 lead.

Schilling went six innings, allowing six hits and three runs, while walking two and striking out nine. The right-hander threw 97 pitches, 70 for strikes.

Tucson regained the lead with three runs in the top of the seventh. Luis Terrero provided the big hit with a two-run double scoring Tim Olson and Brian Gordon

Danny Bautista began his rehab with Tucson Monday night going 1-3 with an RBI single.

Brian Bruney threw a scoreless ninth for his fourth save of the year.

The Sidewinders improved to 45-44. Tucson and Sacramento will play the second game of the three-game series Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. Edgar Gonzalez (6-2 4.31) will start for the Sidewinders. Sacramento will counter with Erik Hiljus (9-5 4.91).
