Sound Tigers Trade Seabrook to Rockford

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today that the team has traded Keith Seabrook to the Rockford IceHogs for future considerations.

Seabrook, 26, has spent the entire 2014-15 season with the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL. The 6'0, 198-pound defenseman has appeared in 51 games this year, recording 27 points (seven goals, 20 assists).

The Delta, B.C., native has played in 186 American Hockey League games in his career, suiting up for the Abbotsford Heat, Manitoba Moose and San Antonio Rampage. A second round draft pick (52 nd overall) of the Washington Capitals in the 2006 National Hockey League Draft, Keith is the younger brother of Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Brent Seabrook.
