Lightning Recall Forward Vladislav Namestnikov from Syracuse

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled center Vladislav Namestnikov from the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League today, vice president and general manager Steve Yzerman announced.

Namestnikov, 5-foot-11, 171 pounds, has skated in 26 games with the Lightning this season, recording three goals and seven points with a plus-3 rating. He notched his first career NHL goal and assist on October 13 against the Montreal Canadiens. Namestnikov, 22, netted his first game-winning goal on October 24 in Winnipeg against the Jets. He has played in 30 career NHL games, all with the Lightning.

A native of Zhukovskiy, Russia, Namestnikov has played in 134 career AHL games, all with the Crunch. He has amassed 40 goals and 104 points. He has played in 34 games with Syracuse this season, with 14 goals and 35 points. Despite a limited number of games, Namestnikov ranks third on the team for points this season.

Namestnikov was drafted by the Lightning in the first round, 27th overall, of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
