Sound Tigers to open training camp tomorrow in Shelton

BRIDGEPORT, CT - The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, will have 23 players on the roster when they open training camp at The Rinks at Shelton tomorrow, Tuesday, September 27th, at 10 a.m. Forwards Luciano Aquino, Travis Brigley, Kevin Colley, Rob Collins, Jeremy Colliton, Cole Jarrett, Matt Koalska, Mark Lee, Masi Marjamaki, David Masse, Steve Regier, Wyatt Smith, Joe Tallari and Chris Thompson; defensemen Joel Bouchard, Ryan Caldwell, Paul Flache, Mike Jarmuth, Vince Macri, Jody Robinson and Allan Rourke; and goaltenders Wade Dubielewicz and Chris Madden will be in Sound Tigers camp.
The schedule for Sound Tigers training camp is as follows: *Tuesday September 27th On-ice practice at The Rinks at Shelton at 10 a.m. *Wednesday, September 28th On-ice practice at The Rinks at Shelton at 10 a.m., preseason game vs. Hartford Wolf Pack at the International Skating Center in Simsbury at 7 p.m. *Thursday, September 29th On-ice practice at The Rinks at Shelton at 10 a.m. *Friday, September 30th On-ice practice at The Rinks at Shelton at 10 a.m. *Saturday, October 1st Preseason game vs. Albany River Rats at The Rinks at Shelton at 7 p.m. *Sunday, October 2nd On-ice practice at The Rinks at Shelton at 11:15 a.m. *Monday, October 3rd On-ice practice at The Rinks at Shelton at 10 a.m., preseason game vs. Hartford Wolf Pack at The Rinks at Shelton at 7:30 p.m. *Tuesday, October 4th On-ice practice at The Rinks at Shelton at 10 a.m.
All on-ice practices at The Rinks at Shelton are open to the public at no charge.
Celebrating their fifth anniversary in Bridgeport as the top affiliate of the Islanders, the Sound Tigers will open the 2005-06 regular season with the first of four straight road games when they visit the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins next Wednesday, October 5th. Their first home games at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard will be Saturday and Sunday, October 22nd and 23rd when they host the Portland Pirates and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
