Bears make it two in a row with overtime, win at Wilkes-Barre

Jonas Johansson scored at the 2:05 mark of overtime to lift HERSHEY to a 3-2 victory at Wachovia Arena Sunday night. The win gave the BEARS two wins in two AHL preseason games with one exhibition remaining this Sunday.

Arpad Mihaly opened the scoring for Wilkes-Barre in the first period at the 9:07 mark to give the Pens a 1-0 lead before HERSHEY'S Jeff Legue tied the game late in the first at the 15:18 mark. After W-B's Tim Verbeek scored in the second period to give the Penguins the lead for the second time, Louis Robitaille tied the game in the third period at 2-2. Johansson's game-winner in overtime was assisted by J.F. David and Martin Wilde.

BEARS goaltender Maxime Daigneault earned his first win of the preseason, making 19 saves. Daigneault also stopped a penalty shot from Cam Paddock at the 16:20 mark of the second period.

HERSHEY looks to stay perfect on the preseason this Sunday evening when the club hosts the Norfolk Admirals at GIANT Center at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for the game are available at the GIANT Center box office or by calling (717) 534-3911.
