Sound Tigers Sign Gill to PTO

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (February 18, 2012) - The Sound Tigers announced today they have signed goaltender Riley Gill to a professional tryout contract (PTO).

Gill, 27, earns his second stint with the Sound Tigers in the past two seasons after brief appearances in two contests last February. This season, the Northfield, MN native shows a 19-9-4 record, a 2.83 GAA and .907 sv. % with the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL .

Gill began his professional career last season after concluding a four-year career at Western Michigan University,
