Sound Tigers Return Reiter to Fort Wayne

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Nov. 5, 2012) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today they have returned goaltender Kenny Reiter on loan to the Fort Wayne Komets of the ECHL.

Reiter, 25, made two appearances during his first stint with the Sound Tigers this season. The Pittsburgh native made 41 saves in a 5-2 loss in Worcester on Oct. 28 and stopped four of five shots in 20 minutes of action in the Sound Tigers 5-3 loss against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Sunday, Nov. 4.

Reiter returns to Fort Wayne where he leads the ECHL with a 0.83 goals against average and a .973 save percentage.

The Sound Tigers return to action on Wednesday, Nov. 7 when they host the Norfolk Admirals at 11:00 a.m. for their annual Cool Fun 101 game geared towards education and hockey.
