Week four of the Hamilton Bulldogs' 2012-2013 campaign saw them improve to a record of 4-2-1-1 during their home-and-home series against the Rochester Americans (AHL Affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres). By picking three of a possible four points during their two-game set versus the Amerks, the 'Dogs stretched their point streak to a season-long four games (2-0-1-1). Week five will see Bulldogs battle the Syracuse Crunch (AHL Affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning) twice in three nights, Wednesday, November 7th at Copps Coliseum at 7:30 p.m. and Friday, November 9th at Bell Center in Montreal, Quebec at 7:30 p.m.

The Hamilton Bulldogs were handed a 3-2 shootout loss by the Rochester Americans on Friday, November 2nd, 2012 at Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York. The 'Dogs came back from a 2-0 deficit in third period to force a shootout. Brendan Gallagher made it 2-1 with his second goal of the season before Darryl Boyce tied the game with 4:21 remaining in the third frame with his first goal as a Bulldog. Zemgus Girgensons scored his first professional goal, while Brian Flynn potted the shootout-winner for the Americans.

Facing each other for the second time in two nights, Hamilton came back to beat Rochester 4-3 at Copps Coliseum on Saturday night. Down 2-0 heading into the third period, Hamilton scored four goals in a span of 5:19 in the final frame. Blake Geoffrion scored two goals for the 'Dogs including the game-winner, while leading the team in shots with five. Rookie Brendan Gallagher scored for the second-straight game while rookie Nathan Beaulieu registered his first professional point with an assist.
