Solar Bears Partner with MeiGray

ORLANDO, FL - The Solar Bears announced today that they have named ECHL game-worn jersey authenticator MeiGray Group the Exclusive Game-Worn Source of the Orlando Solar Bears.

The multi-year deal means that beginning with the uniquely dated and specially [image: The MeiGray Group] patched "Out of Hibernation" set being worn by the Solar Bears in our home opener on October 20, every game-worn jersey worn by the Solar Bears this season will be authenticated by MeiGray before they are offered to fans and collectors.

The 2012-13 Solar Bears-MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Program will include two sets of home jerseys, two sets of road jerseys, one set of third jerseys, one "Shirts Off Our Backs Night" jersey, and at least four "Special Event" sets for a variety of promotional and charitable causes.

"Our partners at Joe Bosack Graphic Design Company, Exclusive Pro and S&P Apparel have done a terrific job creating primary marks, specialty logo patches and jersey designs that our players are proud to wear," said managing partner Jason Siegel. "Having MeiGray join us to authenticate our jerseys and offer them to our fans and collectors is a win-win for Solar Bears fans and the organization. In addition, the sales from selected sets will help us with our community effort to raise money for important causes such as the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association."

Game-worn jerseys will be available in a variety of ways. Homes and roads may be pre-ordered by calling MeiGray toll-free at 888-463-4472. Jerseys can be ordered on-line at www.meigray.com. Special Event sets will be available through selected in-arena and on-line auctions throughout the season.

The Orlando Solar Bears, the ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Minnesota Wild and AHL's Houston Aeros, are coming Out of Hibernation and will play 36 regular season home games at the 2012 Street and Smith's Sports Business Journal Sports Facility of the Year, the Amway Center, beginning October 20, 2012.
