
Titans Announce Roster to Start the 2012-13 Season

TRENTON, NJ - With the NHL lockout causing a mass exodus of players to come from the AHL and cause GMs throughout the ECHL to scramble, t he Trenton Titans, ECHL member and proud affiliate of the NHL's Philadelphia Flyers, have announced their roster for the 2012-13 season.
As of 4:15 pm Thursday, the Titans have chosen the following players:
Forwards - Drew Akins, Ryan Hayes, Andy Bohmbach, Andrew Conboy, Jacob Drewiske, Stephen Schultz, Marcel Noebels, Kory Nagy, Jason Akeson, Bryan Haczyk, Alexandre Beauregard, Ian Slater, Jim McKenzie and Adam Presizniuk.
Defensemen - Ray DiLauro, Eric Baier, Mike Banwell, Ryan Grimshaw, Connor Goggin, Luke Pither, Blake Kessel, Tyler Hostetter and Mitch Versteeg.
Goalies - Niko Hovinen and Jody O'Neill.
Akins, Drewiske and Grimshaw will start the season on Reserve, while McKenzie and Beauregard have been placed on Injured Reserve.
Titans Tuesdays - Tuesday's on the radio are now "Titans Tuesdays" throughout the hockey season, as Head Coach Vince Williams takes to the airways twice. First, he will be interviewed live on WCTC-1450 AM at 1:25 pm to talk all things Titans. Then at 8 pm, he will join Titans' broadcaster Daryle Dobos on the Trenton Titans Coaches Show on the Titans' flagship station, 107.7 FM The Bronc. The show will broadcast live from Killarney's Publick House in Hamilton Township, NJ.
The Trenton Titans returned in the 2011-12 hockey season after a five year hiatus and boasted a 26.1% increase in attendance over the previous year, the largest of any team in the ECHL. Opening Night for the 2012-13 season is October 12 at home against the Greenville Road Warriors. Great seats are still available.
